I am going to try the sprouts to get my sugar down and my partners- his A1C is 11 and his sugar is frequently over 300. He had gotten it down under 200 for the first time in years but when he hit the doughnut hole in medicare he couldn't afford his Insulin (NovalogN). His doctor gave him Novalog but he is having a real rough time getting it under control. He loves salads and sprouts - we just didn't think of using them.

Hi Judy:
My husband Alan had to go on duragesic fentanyl patches YEARS ago because his neuropathy was soooo bad (not diabetic by the way).
Are you taking Methyl b-12. That is what helped me tremendously last year when I got my FIRST TASTE OF NEUROPATHIC PAIN. Ever since I began taking my B-12 under my tongue in the a.m., I have literally have no pain. So for me (and it doesn't hurt that I lost most of my weight and have controlled my diabetes), so for me, thankfully, I can' complain.
But my husband has several things going on at the same time. He was, however, able to go off of Fentanyl and vicodin and all that stuff, YEARS AGO, after seeing a Chiropractic/Neurologist.
But then again, his PN is NOT DIABETES RELATED.
Hard to deal with, I understand.
You take care,
Melody
