Default I'm making a sugar free pumpkin pie/need input

Okay, I'm attempting this for the first time in my life.

I have all the ingredients. No problem there.

The instructions say to use an Unbaked 9 inch Deep Dish pie shell. I bought this in the frozen food section.

It's a package with two pie shells.

Now it is in my freezer.

I have never used a frozen pie shell in my life. It does not say to use it when it's not frozen. It doesn't say anything. It just says "unbaked pie shell".

Now what the heck do I do with this thing in my freezer?

My friend said "don't do this on Thursday, you'll have mush". "Take one of the shells out today, put it in your refrigerator and you can bake the pie tomorrow".

So is this okay?

Hey, it's my first time, give me some slack!!! lol
