Does anyone have any experience with electric snow throwers? (Not gas) Bob should not be shoveling anymore, though he thinks he ought, and we're having a hard time finding willing and able shovelers in the community that don't want an arm and a leg. I am considering surprising him with an electric snow thrower so he can continue to shovel the paths and dooryard.

I wonder if they hold up? If they really make it "easy"? If they're safe? Looking forward to your comments.
