You were a special friend,

Your life has come to an end.

It was never meant to be,

You always meant so much to me.

I could always feel your pain,

I know I'll never see you again.

I knew what you were going through,
It hurts because,
I couldn't reach out and comfort you.
It hurts because,
I couldn't help you find the way,
It hurts because,
I couldn't find the right words to say.
It hurts because,
You really touched my heart,
It hurts because,
It has now been torn apart.
It hurts because,
We can't share secrets anymore,
It hurts because,
It won't be like it was before.

You were too young to die,

I never got the chance to say goodbye...
