hi Hola,

SSI might be the way to go although you might run into bumps at first.

I had to help my father apply for it and it took a long time but he did get it(a month after he'd passed away....)

however, don't let that discourage you. Get all your reports from your doctors, all of them. Fill out every single line (I believe you can print the form on line these days)

I also believe you can set up home interviews instead of going in.

And I think you can apply for other assistance as well...not sure how it works these days for I am sure the rules and regulations have changed since...

not sure what all your resources are as far as jobs go. What are your qualifications, are you able to modify them? Or maybe take a few on line courses to keep you up to date and then maybe get an online job?
