A female family member was often dizzy. It was also blamed on emotional issues. I believe it is more common for doctors to blame things like this on mental health in females. She was referred to a neurologist who did nothing. It turns out that some hormones levels were low. I know another case (also female) blamed on anxiety and it was an adrenal tumor. From those experiences, I would suggest getting a thorough testing of your pituitary, thyroid, adrenal hormone levels. It can be other things such as an inner ear problem or meniere's disease.
