How tough is it for our children?
Does anyone feel as if their children have been affected in a big way by your illness? [or indeed any family or friends]
Do you feel that your children/family have missed out on anything?
Do you overcompensate or feel guilty?
Do you hide your feelings or tell it like it is/gloss over the bad days as best you can?
Do your children accept or deny your illness or have they behaved in an adverse way towards you ...shown resentment, shown anger, embarrassment when with you?
Do you tell them what to expect in the future,or just let it ride it`s course from day to day?
Do you feel they need to talk with someone about their feelings or do they talk to you?
Lots of questions ...don`t need to tackle them all but just wondered how PD affects the whole family.
