Remember several years ago when Chrysler was going to have to close its doors for this same reason? Then someone had an idea to hire a guy to save the company...anybody remember his name? I do...now they are asking the same question again?

I own a F150...I didn't finance through Ford, I financed through a locally owned bank. The same with my house and boat...my interest rate at the time was 2% higher but guess what...I don't have to worry about losing my vehicle or my house if I get behind. These people know me and they know I will catch all my payments up if I do get behind. I was prepared for this and paid payments like five months in advance...

We can blame it on poor management, people buying foreign vehicles, banks or just plain bad luck. However, when push comes to shove; it is what it is and why won't our government allow a plant to be built in the USA like the Ford plant in Brazil? But, Ford owns, the plant, property, harbor, boat and robotics that makes the vehicles that has to be shipped across countries?

One of those things that make you go HMMMmm? The cost of that plant alone is staggering and what those employees make will make you say more than Hmmm?
