OK, Lindkaye, I know I may get a reputation as being a smart-$(% with the docs, but I guess it's my job to be. One thing that they hate and WILL shut them up is something like "Oh, I'm surprised that you're not familiar with that dose being used for RSD." Nothing scalds them like being made to feel put on the spot and defensive-JUST LIKE THEY DO TO YOU regarding your pain meds. Secondly, I'm glad that you are standing up for yourself. You will find the doc for you. You would be surprised how many melon-heads made it through school or are so worried about their own life to any longer give a crap about yours. Accept nothing but someone who listens to you and knows how to find is butt without a book, then hold on-he will open doors for you to "like" docs.
I think of you often-I always wonder how people who don't work in medicine ever make it through.
