Oh my! It has been a long time suffering of spasms in the abdominal area. I can only echo what others have already said. It could be acid reflex, which was my first symptom. Then, for the longest time, I had no appetite, felt 'full'. Then, I had back pain when I went on vacation, which disappeared once I returned home... I mentioned to the doctor who did not find anything. A few months passed and I noticed I had trouble straightening out and difficulty in breathing and...no appetite. Finally, a doctor noticed 'something' and sent me for a CT-SCAN . Yes, my gallbladder was diseased, full of stones and distended (10 cm !). Gallbladder was removed in the nick of time!

The gallbladder was probably pushing against my back as it competed in size with the stomach! (It is not supposed to be that big!)

Good luck in finding the culprit. and Welcome to our site!
