has diabetic socks with less contrictive elastic. They run about 3.79 a pair, and come in black and white.

They are not thin like dress socks.

There are also relaxed elastic men's tube socks. My son uses these. (also at WalMart)

But nice women's trouser socks I have not been able to find, that were not tight.
