Default For the Autistic, a Gift of Common Ground

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/26/bu...tner=TOPIXNEWS

** it is a 2 page article, I missed the "next page" link at the bottom the 1st time i read the article **

This was posted in the Health News Headlines forum here at NeuroTalk.

The article discusses gift ideas and games for children with Autism... It discusses toys made specifically for Autistic children, and toys that are "mainstream" toys that can help children learn specific skills.

One thing I never knew was that Toys R Us Publishes a toy guide for "differently-abled" children (there is a link to the toy guide in the article).
