Hmm I see your point.. maybe they plan to suck people in with the big upfront cost and no fees at first - and then they will start adding usage fees after they have a good base of users...

My Verizon per month -

Verizon Phone Charges $28.80
Verizon Online Charges $23.99

52.79 x 12 months = 633.48
