I got my latest lipid scores today.
Using 1200mg Red Yeast Rice daily-- Doctor's Best brand:
My total cholesterol went down 25pts
my LDLs went down 17 pts
my HDLs went up 18pts
triglycerides went down almost 100 pts!
I am going to increase red yeast rice to 2400mg daily (as per Dr. Cohen's book). (2 in the morning and 2 at bedtime).
We are retesting in 3mos!
I also use the non-flush niacin 1000mg a day.
