Best frypan I ever have owned is called "Hard Anodised". It's a Jamie Oliver frypan. (this is not an ad. lol ) It has stay-cool metal handles although I don't ever trust that idea and use an oven mit anyway. It can go from the top of the stove to the oven to finish off a dish.
I forget what it cost now, but it wasn't cheap to me. If I was buying a huge set I'd not afford it, but it was worth it to get such a good hard wearing pan.
I hope it doesn't have any bad chemicals in it, because I like it too much.
