would like to introduce myself
Hello, I am a 49 year old female who just recently got dx with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. All my blood work was normal, except a little high on the glucose test(in the normal range) doc wants me on a low carb diet. I have been incredibly healthy my whole life. Started with feet problems, that just wouldn't go away. Everyone thought it was in my head, it took about 4 doc to find my diagnosis. It started with painful feet, and a weakness feeling, now I get a little tingling in my fingers, or twitching and a weakness feeling in my limbs. It really came on so strong, Needless to say I am so anxiety ridden, and worried, I just had an emg and Mri and bloodwork. The pain is not that bad, but the weakness is a worry. I dont know what type of pn, it is and how do you find out? I see the neurologist in a couple of weeks, but until then, I am really scared. IT is hard for everyone who sees me to understand what I am going through. I have read horror stories about this disease, and I am petrified.
