Hi Summertime,

I'm sorry you feel like a burden. It's only natural we are limited in energy, strength of opening bottles etc.Maybe once a day someone could open bottles and then gently close so we could easily open them thruout the day. meals planned out the night before. Myself, I eat very simply, fruit, baked potato in the micro with veggies on top. Viggies are easy to steamAnyway, I like whole wheat toast with light cream cheese wkth fresh fruit topping. I'm basically a vegetarian now.

Just a couple of ideas. There should be lots mor out there. I was thinking of getting a short stool for the shower and a hand held shower to wash hair and spray, take a shower

I know when I was taking care of my mother the last 4 months, all I thought about was how grateful I felt to be able to spend that time with her. Reading to her, Massaging her feet, neck making her as comfortable as possible. Telling her how much I loved her and what a good mother she was. I'll alway be grateful for that time, I never looked at it as a burden.

I hope you can see your caretakers in the same way. If you have Children, just think of the way you felt about take care of them. all the good memories and happy times.I'm so grateful to have been a mother and raise our daughter.

I know you are loved and those taking care of you are happy to do so. You sound like such a nice person, easy to be around and thankful for what others do for you. Please accept their love with grace. Loretta Jewell
