This subject is really heating up... concerning the many benefits of curcumin. I've been spending some of each day searching around about it.
To keep the curcumin in the GI tract...you won't need the fancy new versions that cost alot more. The regular curcumin in not expensive and tends to stay in the GI tract and have its major benefit there. It is benign and worth a try.
As far as carcinoids go, I can't recall seeing anyone on the boards with this problem.

I have only had one patient in 40 yrs with carcinoids. It is not common.
