I wanted a clean house for Christmas

I had already decided to use some of my SSDI backpay to spring for an eow maid again. I used to have one when I worked 60+ hours/week, but stopped when they stole from me. Problem is, I need things picked up enough so a cleaner can do their job, so I asked for a picked up house for Christmas.

I told my kids (12 and 14)in September I wanted it done by Thanksgiving or Christmas was canceled. They made a last minute push on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so I said they could have more time, but they were losing their number one wish list item and we wouldn't have time to set up the tree.

They were psyched I went to the black Friday sales.......and they promptly stopped working

Another last minute push Dec 24th, but too little too late. Their presents are stacked up in the dining room.....but they aren't getting them until I get my present. Useless hubby just says, "not my mess, I'm not cleaning."

Our stalemate continues........



So, I asked for Dragon Speak too, but don't know if I've gotten it

I have a portatble cervical traction thing like Jo has pictured......I love it ! I also have a lay down on the floor model which works better but is impractical to take out of the house.
