Sandy you are so wise to bring up this point. Caring for animals
properly especially now that there are so many treatment options available is very expensive! While I wish everyone could have a houseful if they so desire it is more humane not to take on more than someone can afford.
Most shelters are in desperate need of volunteers if someone needs a puppy or kitty fix. Don't forget to spay and neuter. I had to slip in a public service announcement.
