Happy New Year! I hope and pray that 2009 is a great year for you and that you find a Doctor that you like!

I haven't really heard of Doctors that treat RSD "just" on Diet changes and Psychological input however every doctor is different and different doctors have different opinions on how to treat RSD. When I was diagnosed with RSD, my Doctor immediately did a Nerve Block as that was thought to be the best chance of putting my RSD into remission (I developed complications though) and then he sent me to Physical Therapy and to see an Occupational Therapist and Psychologist and I saw him for medications.

The 2 PM Doctors that I have seen usually just prescribe my pain medications and then send me to PT or to some other doctor that they think I might benefit from seeing. From what I understand, most doctors have a "Multidisiplinary (sp?) approach"

I hope you can find a doctor that you like and please keep us all updated when you can!
