Perhaps the reason for the low iron should be investigated.

Your symptoms strike me not as the symptoms really of low iron, which are just fatigue, but more of an underlying condition that can cause low ferratin - which may be endocrine and that would cause low libido, and altered social behavior (low growth hormone in particular). It could also cause the heart issues.

I had a couple of pituitary tumors - prolactinoma and Cushing's disease. I had low iron, low libido, no energy, stayed at home, did not drink and I started seeing a cardiologist in my early 40's.

I would see an endocrinologist for a thorough check up. You need a good one - Most do not treat pituitary but diabetes and thyroid so check around or get a good PCP to help you out.
