You're right about the will/POA, and sounds like you definitely know what you're talking about...must have made losing your DH so much more difficult...

We had a will made in the mid '90s when our kids were dependents, so we need to get back and redo it, as well as set up POA and a trust...especially since we go to Hawaii every year...you never know...best to make it easier on the survivors...
