welcome to the world of breeder politics. for the super heavy duty dog fanciers that follow the party line of AKC 'breed standards' unless the dog matches exactly the standards outlined by the AKC it doesnt count. it doesnt matter what the dogs blood line is, they would rather destroy the dog than chance having it produce more imperfect animals.the best case for those dogs is that the breeder will spay/neuter and let the dog go as "pet quality". it can still be regestered and all, but it can never be shown in an AKC sponsored show and they dont have to worry about it reproducing.
in my own opinion......breeders are to puppy mills like target is to macys
