I am happy because I have friends who care and look out for me even though I'm so far away. I thank you.

I am so grateful and thankful and happy that I have such wonderful neighbours who have helped me out today in a very practical way. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was something I just was unable to do myself and it means so much to me that they cared enough about me to just rock on over and 'just do it'.

I think my neighbours may be a little perplexed however, as although I couldn't put together the flatpack cabinet I had bought earlier in December, I was just out there in the pouring rain like a flash trying to unblock their outdoor drains during the torrential downpour we just had here.

Flatpack cabinets that are not pre-drilled are not my thing.

Flooding rains and blocked drains, heck, I'm out there!

Life is grand really.
