Thanks for the link, firemonkey! The info especially about the importance of words of encouragement was something! My daughter homeschools, and one of the kids is having a time learning to read. She's inherited the family "curse" of learning disabilities. But she is slowly picking it up, and I intend to put into practice that advice about words of encouragement.
