Here's a picture of my Chamber. Great description. Here is a picture of my chamber. This is a Reneau. I guess you could call it a monoplace although 2, people could dive in it. It has a patient and an attendant side. Multiplace chambers can hold up 6 or eight people at one time. One generally starts at 1.5 ata and can go up to 2.4 ata or atmosphere. We are still using Navy terms and standards. Chambers were originally used for decompression illness or the bends with Navy Divers. Then, they realized that wounds were being healed as well. From there the applications for treatments grew. Although, only probably in the past 5-10 years has is been used for treatment of RSD/CRPS. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. Di
