The hearing issue you have when feeling faint is due to your blood pressure being low. It's just an effect that happens along with it. It shouldn't happen normally and if it does, then you'd need to find out why it is. I've only ever had it happen to me when my already low blood pressure plunges down and I feel faint like you do.
