Clothing for Midwest
Dear Terri:
I live in Minneapolis, MN and if we don't have snow on the sidewalks or anyplace you want to walk outside, just plain shoes will do. Fur lined boots if you can find some that don't bother your feet, would be lovely whether there is snow or not! They would keep your feet warm but you don't really have to have them. I don't even own any boots!
Of course I drive all the time and the little snow that I encounter on driveways and sidewalks I just plow through with the shoes. Of course that can be hard on shoes and my tootsies do get cold.
I don't make a habit of walking through deep snow. Here in MPLS we don't have any snow on the ground at all right now. The snows have all gone around us. They are telling us we might have flurries tonight, but that won't last - probably melt almost right away if it is just flurries.
