Grandma's a little sad this morning. A man in our town died last night. He was in his wheelchair, shoveling his driveway and got stuck outside. This is certainly the type of weather where we should be looking out for neighbors and friends and checking on the elderly.
But Grandma's got her Peddler's coat on. Lots of pockets inside-with something for everyone. Just pick out what you need the most.
Everything's free-let me describe some of the items:
Instuctions on how to wrap your arms around your shoulders and hug yourself.
Reminders to ask anyone around you for hugs & understanding.
Encouragement to help yourself get set up for better self-care for those times when you cannot think straight and are stuck in pain. (I have a list of how to do this if anyone wants it, just PM me)
Knowledge that we are not alone-and that if we reach out to someone who needs help, we will get help ourselves.
No chocolate today because some of you used that $20 to buy MORE chocolate. You know who you are.
