I would ask the surgeon how long has he been doing the procedure?

How many procedures like this has he done?

What are his stats? Percentage rates. Like prior outcomes from other patients? Some surgeons will even have other patients call you with their outcomes.

I am sure other people will come along with some other help for you. Is this kind of like a electric shock type thing?
