Dana,
Thanks, BUT this isn't work comp. This is Long Term Disability Ins. I paid for this insurance out of my check every 2 weeks. They pay you approx 67% of your income until retirement age if you become disabled. Whether it be illness, accident whatever. I didn't get hurt at work to cause RSD in both of my feet. It just happened a few months after I bashed both of my feet into 1) a doorway for the left foot 2) A wooden box sitting in the middle of the floor for the right foot. All in the spring/summer of 2003. It took me along time to figure out what exact accident/s that caused this to hit both feet at the same time. They say I can do a sedentary type job. which is exactly the type of work I was doikng when this all started.
May I ask what type of work do you do from your home????

Mark,
The stress of phone calls & mailings will be a whole lot less than before the big B happens. That is refreshing. Except it seems like medical bills always seem to pile up even when I was working. Alot of what is wrong with the bill thing is our health/medical system. We may have 'everything medically' more or less for alot of illness/syndromes etc, but it is the cost of accessing the care is what sucks. I could have ketamine infusions if I could pay them cash. Yup they won't deal with insurance out here in CA at all.
Hang in there & chin up as you say.
