speaking Frankly, I don't know HOW you guys handle the cold !!

then there's chopping firewood for the woodstove, and the heating bills, they were breaking my budget into splinters...

on top of that, the cold aggravates my spasticity, and it's hard to *move* when one is all bundled up.

I was just reading Alastair MacLean's Ice Station Zebra, and thinking of you shivering up there, shoveling and blowing snow, clearing drains, and getting pneumonia.

I was getting pneumonia about once a year, living in the Sierra Nevadas for 17 yrs...
