YES, At last!
Geron seemed ready for stem cell therapy for various diseases including PD two years ago, but had to wait till now. I was at a meeting couple of years ago, where Geron;s CEO showed impressive results with spinalcord injury models. They had partial success with PD in monkeys. Stem cells helped monkeys with PD but not for long. It seemed like neuronal cell death was still a problem. That was 2 years ago. Hope they have better data now.
