Lightbulb I would get it checked out...

Most doctors consider lipomas frivilous however.

But there is a possibility they are neurofibromas, and that should be checked out. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disease and has several variants.

Lipomas tend to occur along tendons, or in the surface areas of the skin. I don't know if they would be deep enough to compress nerves.

I'd go to a neurologist or dermatologist.
