I don't thinkTPN is the answer to this problem.

TPN is complex and involves a special IV hookup into the
subclavian vein. TPN stands for total parenteral nutrition and the bags are huge and contain fats, sugar, amino acids etc. as well as trace nutrients. TPN is the last resort when people cannot eat by mouth and stomach tubes fail. It is not ordered lightly.

The IV Myer's cocktails are smaller and easier to administer and usually done in the office. They can go in a vein in the arm.
