I've just been in lurk-mode is all, dearie!

got the bathroom cleaned, and then conked OUT for the rest of the day, got up, had dinner, and went back to bed.

next day, got the house swept, and zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I'm just so gosh-darn tired... sniffly, and (dare I say it?) COLD !!!

I'm really *glad* we snagged half-a-dozen blankies last year - some enterprising Mennonites brought in a truck-full of nice thick warm "stripped" electric blankets, with all the wires and controls removed, and the bottom seam hanging open, lol!

I'm guessing they got a pretty good deal on 'em, eh?

they were on sale for only $5 each, and I couldn't resist, thinking that perhaps during hurricane season, we might have unexpected guests, seeking safety in our sturdy concrete-block house.

anywayze, we've been using FIVE of them on our bed !!

normally, all that's needed in the tropics is a SHEET, or perhaps a light cotton blanket, so I'm grateful for my preparedness, hee hee hee...
