Default "The world is not stranger than we imagine...

...it is stranger than we CAN imagine." Albert Einstein

There will always be a horizon compelling us to struggle forward. We must beware of quackery but equally so of intellectual arrogance. After all, science is one long chain of "revolutions". And the philosophy that if we can't measure it then it doesn't exist, as some believe, is....well....silly.

While KMT is a little too subtle to include on the list, there are a few things that have impressed me enough to keep my mind open. One was the old man who "witched" a well location for me 25 years ago with a forked stick. I was standing five feet from him and watched as the stem twisted down despite his struggle to keep it upright. I was a little skeptical until he opened his two hands and showed me the raw and bleeding places where the twisting of the two forks had torn his callouses away. Try as one might, it is physically impossible to do that and I did try.

A second incident brought to mind by your experience with the naturopath was one I had two years ago when I accompanied my wife to visit a charming nurse who had retired from a national position with one of the biggest HMOs in the US to pursue her own research. One of the avenues she was following involved a machine that purportedly could, in one mode, generate frequencies that allowed diagnosis and, in a second mode, generate a different set derived from the first that allowed treatment. I was polite but inwardly rolled my eyes as my wife sat in a chair with a couple of belts of sensors attached. I sat in another chair across the small room with a clear view of the digital readout of the frequency being generated. I watched and listened as she explained that different blocks of frequencies corresponded to different organ systems and that the little machine would step through them and provide data.

I sat smugly thinking of the Wizard of Oz as the digital counter began to go through its routine or, perhaps, its song and dance. Then, after a few minutes, I suddenly began feeling what I can only describe as panic. It came on quickly and I had just enough time to say something about waiting outside as I left the room. I did, however, notice the value on the readout. Afterwards, I asked her what frequencies corresponded to the nervous system and, you guessed it, it was exactly what I had noted. We had come for my wife's sake and she knew nothing of me or my PD and I knew nothing of her frequency blocks. I inadvertently repeated the experience a few weeks later as she did a followup on my wife and was once again forced to flee.

The brand name of the machine was Ondamed and was of German origin. I was hoping to book some time for my own experiments but it had become unaffordable and insurers have no imagination.

I see that I have wandered entirely OT but it IS my thread What I started out to say is that if you try the KMT, don't pay for it. Just do it yourself with a friend.

And he solved my son's chronic cough - avoid sugar and it never happened again. Until the poor kid forgot how awful the cough was and had some sugar.

I've been trying to figure out why I have some really good times and other bad times. I'm sure it has a lot to do with food and blood sugar, but can't pin it down. So I'll try this kinesio stuff and see if that tells me anything. Thanks.
