As far as I know, we don't have the trade name Darvocet in Australia, but we do have 2 very popular analgesics called Digesic and Doloxone.

Both are the same medication with different trade names, and consist of dextropropoxyphene and paracetamol, which may be the same as your Darvocet.

The removal of these meds will leave a big gap in the choice of pain killers for many people. It looks like soon the only choice out there after paracetamol, will be either SR Morphine, or SR Oxycodone.
