I read the story too. I fall into this category also, henry. I take Darvocet (one (1) every six hours) with my gabapentin for my PN. I've tried many combos and this one works for me.

However, I take four a day which none of my docs like but they live with it. (LOL -- that's funny) But lately the combo I take is not lasting the six hours between doses and I approached my neuro about maybe trying morphine with the gabapentin. He instead (as did my pain management doc) thought it a good idea to reach out to the pain mangement group at USF in Tampa. He feels that he cannot help me anymore; that he is limited.
