Sorry to hear that you've been in a lot of pain - yikes! Hopefully, the doctor has answered your Q's, but just in case:

I'm a CNA, and some of the patients I've cared for did wear those patches. You can bathe, shower, swim with them on. Once you remove that patch, it's very difficult to get it to stick again and you might as well throw it away.
