It is quite shocking to be told or to read the dx that you have MS. I remember when I was positively dx......I thought "gosh, this time last week MS wasn't even in my vocabulary". Now, it's always there......like a splinter that you just can't seem to remove. Bothers you sometimes, other times you don't notice it but just as soon as you almost stop thinking about it there it is again!
