Hello Nancy
Hello Nancy,
Recovery really is a journey, and I am so glad you are on this side of it. I am 5+ months post op from my clipping and have really come to see that this is a journey i am on. Also it changes as well. I slept more normal at first, and was so elated to be alive. I was still running on fear, and adrenaline. Months 2-4 I did nothing but sleep. I am back for some reason to normal sleeping behavior again and that is good.
Many complain of not being able to sleep, or they will fall asleep, and wham wake up , and stay awake. Maybe talk with your doctor if it continues to be bothersome to you. I know i really needed rest. Sleeping is when brain is healing.
You have been through so much, so please continue to be good to you. I am also blessed with a supportive family, and hubby has bee a true blessing. Feel free to pm me anytime.
I have seen so many movies, and seen them many times, I also try and get out once a day, even if just to store, that is priceless, or a short walk. Take care....
