In the "wet" season, commercials are preempted by the weatherman to say, rain is coming! We get obnoxious horns blaring on the station and pictures of Arizona tracking rain at EVERY break.
I swear that our neighborhood is in some sort of "vortex." It rains all around us.
And just you watch, this Severe Weather Report may end up producing about 1/2 " of rain.

You got that one right! I am worried about summer now. It may start in another month!
That would mean a good 8-9 months of hot weather.
Oh but did you see, a cold front with rain may hit us by this weekend. We will be down to the upper 50's with rain.
Nothing like going from 80's to 50's overnight. LOL
