Usually if you have a headache that bad after a lumbar puncture, the doctor will do what's called a blood patch.

Contact your doctor and/or the hospital where you had the LP so that can give you the proper advice.

If you need another one in the future remember..... plenty of fluids, and lots of caffeine.
