I am so sorry tohear of the loss of Dad Rochelle.
Even though you knew the time would come the impact is chest crushing. I send you my prayers of comfort and a cyber hug to hold you. your Dad was so very blessed to have you and the family. I can only imagine how much it ment for himto be home and when the time came he could slip away.

There is no time in Heaven as days and weeks or clocks, so for your Dad it will be the blink of an eye and he is with his family again. THe difficult part is for those of us behind that cling to memories.

It was wonderful that you could have your daughter there and she got to say goodbye to her granpop too. You really needed someone with you.

these next few days will pass in a blink and numbness until the real hard emptiness hits. Do something nice to memorialize him to you with the tapes.

A book my be the thing that heals your heart. Even if it is just for your family, cherish the memories.
