sold this patent off. If they had retained it, there might be a chance. They certainly didn't want it anymore! Lilly has a lot of clout (less since Bush left--since Bushes had heavy interest in the company) and may have pulled it off.

Studies have shown that it is the Tylenol part of Darvocet that
provides the pain relief. The Darvon part is just very addictive.

Many elderly patients get hooked on this, and it contributes to accidents in the home and fatal falls/hip injuries.
