with magnesium is very low. I have seen statistics in the 10-15 incidents/year range. Mostly these are infants or elderly, and often
involve enemas.
There is a considerable segment of the population who do colonics and enemas. And if they misuse epsom salts, then there may be a terrible accident.
Anyway... because of the colonic people, I wanted to clarify that.
One need not worry about oral magnesium unless you are severely kidney impaired or on dialysis. In that event you need a doctor's supervision.
