Ralph, I have returned to this post to add that I should have mentioned that I've never heard of this lung density issue as directly related to MS. Definitely ask your neuro if these are two separate things or if he/she thinks they are related. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you so much for your input. I had never heard of the MS Hug but now feel this very well may be what this is all about. I have a follow up with my doctor just in case to discuss the lung density thing. I've never in my life done this kind of chat room and I have to say, I can't believe how quickly I go an answer!
