I have had myofascial pain several times... specially when Im under stress...
And about repetitive sounds... they drive me nuts !!!!!!!!!!!!

now, to determine what problem I really have will be nice but difficult I guess... hum... I will stay with the "Irritable Everything Syndrome" idea... It fits me perfectly !
